Folks,

Wanted to share a piece of information. When I post process images and resize them for "web use" and for "print" this is what I do.

> I maintain 2:3 proportion at all times.
> I maintain 300 px/inch throughout.
>1800 px on the longest side for a poster size print 12 x 18 inches ( 1800px x 1200px). Do not reduce this pixels for a smaller print.

Challenges in shooting in Singapore

Posted by Arvind Kumar Sinha on April 25, 2010 at 8:08pm 2 Comments

Friends,

I am just back from Singapore and I must say I had very big challenge shooting in Singapore. There was instant fogging on my camera lens. The reason was, the moment I would take my camera out of the bag, due to heat of the atmosphere and low temperature of the camera bag, the moisture on the lens had instant deposit.

This is really beautiful Aditya ...like the wave pattern left behind by the speed boat. One more interesting that I like about the image is that you have added the mountain at the horizon. Well done

A vertical could have been nice here ..and wonderful choice of subject......could have even tried shooting from a lower angle and brought the human right on the sun .. ;-)

Love the color palette here ..and the comp too ..something different from what one would see from you..and also looks like from a snow storm rather than a from dew/frost. Lots to see in this image ....The white in the bottom left can be cloned...
